This was such a fantastic project to be a part of! DVRG is a close collaborator, so when they called me to be a part of this beautiful project promoting LGBTQIA+ pride for Disney+, I simply jumped in! I have been a long-time fan of Alan Menken's work and to get to come to his home to interview him, was truly a dream come true. It was adorned with every Disney memorabilia you could imagine, and his Oscars were on display at his office. This was a beautiful homage to Howard Ashman. The whole set was weeping as Sheridan Square played on, and it turned out it was Ashman's birthday. This was one of my favorite shoots ever, with so much heart and a beautiful craft.
