Producing an educational magic show was quite the feat! We shot a monthly episodic show in 11 days, with 8 cameras. The idea was to make magic comprehensible, and by the wrap party, the whole camera team had learned all the magic tricks. We went through 32,000 cards, and approaching David Blaine to ask how he does the fire trick, so I could set up a FDNY permit and talk it through with insurance, still cracks me up!
